Biography

Vanessa Davis began taking singing lessons and performing at the age of two. Raised in a musical family, her love of the arts began young and has only continued to grow. Through the years she has gained experience in music and musical theatre through performing, training, and teaching. Favorite musical theatre rolls that she has played include Nancy in “Oliver!” and Peppermint Patty in “Snoopy!”

Training credits include a Music Ministry Certification IV at Hillsong International Leadership College, and studies in voice, piano, and composition through the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto.

Mrs. Davis has been teaching music in a private and group setting since 2001. Teaching credits include Saskatchewan Express Musical Theatre Studio (2001-2005) and the University of Kentucky’s Academy for Creative Excellence (2011-2016). She has had the pleasure of Vocal Directing shows such as “Seussical Jr.” (Saskatchewan Express), “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” (ACE), “Captain Louie Jr.” (ACE), “Disney’s Peter Pan Jr.” (ACE), “The Lion King Jr.” (ACE; Campbellsville University), and “Shrek Jr.” (ACE).  She has directed "101 Dalmatians Kids" (ACE) and "The Wizard of Oz Young Performers Edition" (Campbellsville University). Mrs. Davis has also choreographed independently for musical theatre competitions in Saskatchewan, and has been featured as a musical theatre workshop instructor for Dance Saskatchewan.

Vanessa Davis is an avid singer-songwriter who enjoys sharing the gift of music both as a teacher, through private lessons and workshops,  and as a performing artist.

Booking a Review

Vanessa Davis' availability may vary from the generalized schedule under the "Book Online" tab. If you would like to request a Review of your production, but your availability does not seem to fit with her schedule, you may email her at missvanessadavis@gmail.com to request an alternate time. There is no guarantee that she will be available during the time that you request, either through email, or by booking online.
